Meanwhile, the guy murmuring "Take that, NPR!" was XM Public Radio's Bob Edwards, who won the Murrow for news documentary (Radio Network).
Edwards -- eased out as NPR morning host in 2004 -- won for "The Invisible: Children Without Homes." It was the first Murrow for a satellite radio broadcaster. He'll get the award with other winners -- including two NPR honorees -- Oct. 13 in New York.
