I have a...less than flattering take on the news on the Nostalgic Rumblings blog. While it may be welcomed news, the acquisition of two programs doesn't do anything to solve the major problems at XMPR.XM Satellite Radio will add two popular public radio programs to its lineup with A Prairie Home Companion and Marketplace. The shows will debut on March 3 and March 5, respectively, on XM's Public Radio channel. Hosted and produced by author and National Humanities Award-winner Garrison Keillor, A Prairie Home Companion will air live every Saturday from 6 to 8 p.m. with additional encores airing throughout the week. The show is now in its 33rd year of production.
